Han is a Partner of Decision Processes International (DPI) Singapore, an international management consulting and human resource development firm which specializes in helping organizations improve the quality of their strategic and operational decisions.

A man of multiple roles, Han is a Certified Behavioral Consultant, Senior Corporate Manager, Author, Trainer, University Lecturer and Entrepreneur. Prior to joining DPI, Han was the Senior Human Resource Manager of a Global American MNC. He was a key player in the Company's attainment of the Singapore Quality Class and the People Developer Standard. As a seasoned HR practitioner, his experience spans across industries in PCBA Sub-contracting, HR Consulting, Printing and Financial Products & Services.

Since he started his career in the mid 80's, he has worked with thousands of Executives and Managers in enhancing human and corporate performance. Some of the companies with whom he has worked include CISCO, Public Utilities Board, Fraser & Neave, Seagate, SBC Enterprises, the Royal Singapore Air Force, American International Assurance Co Ltd, Singapore Polymer Corporation, Compaq Beijing and Compaq Taiwan.

In recognition of his contributions to the field of HRM, he was awarded the National Human Resource Professional of the Year Award in 1997 by the Singapore Human Resource Institute (SHRI), the National body for HR Professionals. This is the highest award for HR professionals and he was the youngest HR Manager to win the prestigious award in 1997.

Effectively bilingual, Han has an MBA (Distinction) from the University of Hull (UK) and professional qualifications in Marketing, Management Consultancy, HRM, Compensation Management and People Development. He was a Bank Scholar and the First Singaporean to win The Best Paper Prize (Worldwide) in Financial Control at an international professional examination.

A Certified Trainer from the Accelerated Learning Institute (USA) and the Master Trainer Institute of New York (USA), Han brings with him value-added experience and exposure harnessed from his many years in both the service and manufacturing industries. His programs have consistently received excellent ratings and his approach had been described as "interactive, practical, insightful and learner-centered".

A strong advocate of lifelong learning, Han believes that one of the best ways to learn is to teach. He was a Volunteer Canoeing Instructor with a national community group in the '80s, where weekends were spent teaching the masses the art and science of sea canoeing. Since 1994, he has been sharing his professional experience as an Associate Lecturer/Tutor for the Singapore Polytechnic, The University of Bradford (UK), The University of Western Sydney, MacArthur (Australia), The Open University (UK) and The University of Wales in their business programs in Singapore. He specializes in Human Resource Management, Organization Behaviour and Management.

Han is the author of the Times No.1 Bestseller, "So What If You Don't Have A Degree ? (Success Strategies For The Rest Of Us)" published by Awesome Books. The book has been featured on TCS Channel 8 News, News Radio 93.8 FM, The Straits Times, LianHe ZaoBao, The New Paper and The Career 2000 Fair. Han also donated FULL proceeds from the 1st 1,000 copies sold to the Spastic Children Association of Singapore.

As a person who started from a humble beginning, Han is truly a personality that we can all learn from and deserve our highest respect. Reading his book "So What If You Don't Have A Degree?", one can clearly see how he has worked hard with true grit and determination, to overcome one obstacle after another, and to eventually rise above the crowd to become the best in the field. Han is a living example of how everyone can succeed in life, if he or she is determined enough and willing to work hard.
